Hi Pretty Peeps and Gorgeous Ones
My name is Deborah Paulino; I’m a fashion and costume designer and web 2.0 mistress.
I’ve decided to build a site for local SF and Bay Area designers and shoppers; developed, maintained, and curated by actual fashion designers and professionals. SF has wonderful independent and original designers and fashion artisans, and bring money to the local economy.
The site is still in beta development/work in progress, but is ready to begin testing and fine tuning with real people, if you work in fashion please sign up for a free account at http://ecocouture.tv/user/register to check it out, social network, post suggestions in the forums, and invite friends so you can earn discount coupons and affiliate cash when they buy something on the site.
Fashion shoppers can subscribe to the Discount Club to get extra discounts on top of sales and coupons, invitations to fashion events, as well the other perks, and help fund finishing the site and gathering and curating designers. $6.95 per month - >>> or 6 months free with your first purchase on EcoCouture.TV for the 1st 100 shoppers. <<<
If you are interested as a designer….
Any boutique, on the street or online, needs services and facilities that attract new shoppers and return shoppers, such as discount club, discount coupons for referring shoppers, designer motivation perks, online affiliates to refer more shoppers and curated/hand picked for quality and style products. Let’s face it, for professional designers, sites like Etsy are too big and don’t charge enough to do all that.
EcoCouture.tv will charge an affordable monthly fee to maintain the site and member and product quality, and a per-sales fee to cover discount and affiliate promotions. Don’t worry; it’ll only be about $ 12.95 per month for a sellers account for site maintenance and product screening, and per sale of 15% to cover affiliates, and discount coupon promotions. It’s still a lot cheaper and more exposure than a street store, co-op, or collective - $100 to $700 per month plus 20% to 30% per sale - or consignment 30% to 50% per sale.
As a member of the Designer club you also discounts on all merchandise and coupons from shoppers they’ve invited, on top of any sale discounts. And Designers earn cash for their Affiliate sales. An active designer who sends out lots of invitations will have their account more than pay for itself in discounts, coupons, and affiliate referrals.
The possibilities are kind of endless and inspiring.
To apply please go to http://ecocouture.tv/user/register and create a free account to find out more and post suggestions and questions in the Web Site sections of the forums.
Thank you for joining me on EcoCouture.TV

About the Designer

Artist Statement
"My current works are inspired by deconstruction and festival and street fashions of San Francisco and Japan, as well as Paris Houte Couture and classic silhouettes. I'm inspired by what I see on the street then combine that with other things I see. For me designing clothes is sculpture using found objects and a means to put them into perspective and cohesion. Each garment and piece of fabric is an abstract shape, texture, or color. I see in my mind a rough composite of what it could look like, sketch it out, then cut and unpick relevant items, then reconstruct them into art that is wearable. Each piece is random and unique and each piece inspires the next piece. It's not haute couture, it's rough and edgy and untraditional, it represents conscious living fashion, it is eco couture..." Deborah Paulino
Technical Statement
All garments are individual works of art and all faults and rough edges are part of the design and art.
Service Statement
All pieces can be custom reconstructed to fit most sizes and to add clients' own touches. Custom garments are available with a choice of new cotton, silk, or recycled linings. Each piece or design is photographed and cataloged to verify authenticity. Bulk orders and custom designs and construction patterns for recycling whole lines are possible. Licence to duplicate any pieces, works, sketches, photos, or designs must be arranged with the artist Deborah Paulino in writing.
